As mentioned in our About Us section,.. We work in the distribution and 3PL world and constantly ran into people with small overstocks of great products. These companies were so big that they were already on to the "next big thing" before they even finished with the "current thing". 

We got approached about these small batches enough that we decided that it would be a fun project provided that we only selected the things out of the mix that A. Were good products, and B. Were somewhat interesting to us (ie anything we'd want to keep a few of for ourselves).

So we got together, setup this store and just put new items up on it as they come up.

Turns out those big companies are all pretty centralized around economies of scale.. they didn't want to deal with small quantities of packaged overstocks, which meant they definitely didn't want to go through the trouble of unboxing, inspecting, testing, etc.. anything that had an open box, or hadn't been packaged yet. We have no such qualms (mainly because we're only dealing with a few products at a time.)

We do all that so what you get is new/perfect/mint products at a good price. While most items are new, or new w/out packaging, some MAY have a dented box, or may smell slightly like lavender because the guys who make the lavender body wash that we have a blue bloody million of cheaped out on the container packaging costs from china, thus several dozen oil based lavender products oozed out over every pallet under theirs making every box under them slightly blue tinged and smelling like a shopping mall soap store.. but everything goes through a rigorous check and the only thing you have to deal with is packaging cosmetics. The products are all 100%, we open/test/inspect/sniff (ocassionally taste), everything to make sure it's all ok.

We will say that if you're giving any of our stuff as a gift, you may want to consider a decorative box to put it in.

We're trying to make sure there's always a few items in the queue so that there will never be any "Coming soon" time between items, but it is a possiblity and we ask that you just bear with us until we get "known" and have other people wanting us to put items up in addition to the products we source.
